Now we can add Pancreatitis to the list of medical terms we wish we didnt know. Apparently the procedure today to replace the stent in the bile duct of her liver aggravated her pancreas causing severe pain and nausea - pancreatitis. Result - 25 to 48 hours without food or drink, and significant IV fluids along with pain and nausea medication. So much for a 1-hour outpatient procedure. Hopefully, she can go home tomorrow if things settle down. Thank you all for your amazing display of support and prayer. I cant begin to describe the strength we both took from your comments today.
