Now we can understand, in the context of Turkey, why Obama is paranoid as he gears up the massive US internal spy program and sends billions to the DHS, Department of Homeland Snooping. Obama knows. The Pentagon knows. DHS fears --- a popular uprising here in the US. As with the Tahrir Square uprising, the US citizens are a little slow on the uptake, requiring about six months to a year to respond in kind with street protests.
