Over the years, He has performed numerous micro surgeries, which include ECCE, Phacoemulsification, glaucoma operations, entropion repair, lid repair, repair of ruptured globe. . Apart from the surgeries performed at the hospital, he also taught and imparted lectures to undergraduate students, teaching and assisting residents and assistant lecturers and doctors in performing eye surgeries. . As Chairman of the Ophthalmology Dept. He is responsible for preparing and performing written, MCQs, quizzes and oral exams for the undergraduate students. . He wrote and published six (6) books for ophthalmology, first edition was in 2007 and second edition in 2009. He attended two (2) Phaco courses at the LV Prasad Eye Institute at Hyderabad, India dated 1 September 2004 till 15 September 2004 and 1 August 2005 till 31 August 2005, to observe different techniques on how to do wet labs, to teach residents on how to do Phaco procedures and to gain more experience. Meanwhile visiting and observing the system of the well known charity hospital to gain ideas on how to improve our charity work at the Al Noor Foundation in Cairo. . He was deeply involved in the preparation of the Magrabi Eye Hospitals and Centers for the accreditation process by the Joint Commission International (JCI) on its first survey last February 2009, focus survey on August 2009 and the reaccreditation survey last September 2012 by performing various lectures for medical staffs quality awareness and by preparing the hospitals policies, procedures and by-laws. .
