Now you know what Mayor Sam Jones thinks of ethics and laws. His campaign ad featuring on duty in uniform Mobile Police with a squad car is a clear violation of MPD General Order #26 and the Jones Administration even admits the ad violated this regulation and ethics laws. And, what do they plan to do about it? Nothing! No apology and they are NOT pulling the ad. It is an illegal campaign ad, but they stated we will just continue with it! What other laws is the Mayor just ignoring? Does that mean car thieves can keep stolen cars until their owners claim them? This is an incredibly blatant snubbing of the law. Jones proves the utter lack of transparency and apparently they have no problem disregarding the law. How does anyone support this inexcusable unethical conduct my reelecting this corrupt status quo?
