Nowadays, I always see in my friend’s status about peace and justice. But what is peace and justice? Is there peace if justice is upheld? Will justice be met if we capture the perpetrator and undergo trials in our judicial system? But in the first place is the one doing the crime the real perpetrator? Is our judicial system really competent? Or let me reiterate my question… Does our authorities really that competent? Is prevention of crimes is equated to peace? Or is it eradication of the “criminals” brings peace? What cause these crimes? What is their motivation? Why do they resort to committing criminal acts? So let me ask this question again… What is peace and justice? And how do we achieve them?
