Nowadays my fellow graphic designers are suffering. People need to understand that graphic designer, web designer, 3d designer, animator and videographer are totally different kind of designation. Companies see it more benefit to hire a graphic designer who can do all those stuff but paying no more than a graphic designers salary. This way the save money from hiring more talents. Latest, a graphic designer must also know how to do 3D stereoscopic work, rotoscoping with blue matte, composite editing, 3D tracking and digital matte painting. The requirements that cost them RM10k a month can be paid lesser than RM3k. Why dont they just put more job scope to graphic designer requirements such as engineering, repairing machine, architecture, chef, lawyer, florist, dentist, therapist and pay us around RM500 a month. Or better yet, why dont they just dip our balls in honey and stake us to an ant farm!
