Nowadays, you can relate some of the things in the past in our technology right now. An email is considered a private box belonging to someone and its password serves as a padlock of that box. So if ever you will borrow that box and change its padlock with a different padlock is considered a crime of stealing most specially when you copy or get the contents of it.
