Nowhere in our Constitution are restrictions discussed! ... Why must we prove by undergoing a background check, that we arent too dangerous to posses a firearm? As a law-abiding citizen, why is my privacy invaded and my rights infringed, while exercising a Constitutionally guaranteed right? ... The primary question I ask, is if someone with a violent criminal background is considered too dangerous to keep and bear arms, why is he allowed to be amongst us, to commit other possibly violent crimes? Why arent they incarcerated?? ... P.S. My comment Nowhere in our Constitution are restrictions discussed! is specially referring to the topic at hand, the 2nd Amendment, and its applications to all citizens without restriction. Furthermore, no where in our Constitution is the Federal empowered to enact any control of arms, as stated in the 10th Amendment.
