Nugget of the day: may the God of peace, who through the blood of the eternal covenant brought back from the dead our Lord Jesus, the great Shepherd of the sheep, equip you with everything good for doing his will, and may he work in us what is pleasing to him, through Jesus Christ, to whom be glory forever and ever. Amen. James 1:20-21. God placed in us a moral compass and He has given us the guidelines as to how to live a Christian lifestyle and act toward others. When we hold tight to that moral compass and behave in a manner that is pleasing to God there is a calmness about us. When we chose to disobey our life becomes a struggle. We need to remember God will NEVER ask us, or guide us to behave in an unruly, vengeful or mean manner. God will always lead us down the path of righteousness. He will provide us with an inner calmness that will carry us through hard times and He will let His light shine through us so that we can be an example to others. My prayer tonight is that we hold tight to our moral compass and we let it guide us when we come to the fork in the road. That we take the path that our Loving Father is directing us to take and dont have to take the road most traveled. I pray that we find peace and comfort in our Loving Fathers arms and we sleep well knowing we are safe and loved.
