Number 12 it is! 1) My super powers are: killing it in sack races, pogosticking, pinball playing and hugging. 2) I’m a cake-a-holic and will knock people down to get a corner piece of cake. If there is also a flower involved, even small children had better get out of the way. 3) I had a silver front tooth from the time I was two until I was six and it got knocked out on the playground. 4) I am the oldest and bossiest of five siblings and contrary to one of their claims Quinn Kerrane), I did not say, “Now it is time to play slave and master,” when my parents left me in charge. (which was not often) 5) I love creative endeavors and although I don’t have much time any more with teaching full-time, I have huge hoards of fabric, beads and stained glass supplies. 6) I have to read to fall asleep and can’t stop until the end of a chapter or a cliff hanger is resolved. I go to bed too late every night. 7) Before I became a teacher, I was a social worker, a waitress/bartender, tortilla chip fryer, doughnut maker and burger slinger. 8) I was terrified of Rumpelstiltskin when I was younger and was convinced that he lived under my bed with his evil band of trolls. Thank goodness I had my stuffed animal, Sylvester, to protect me! 9) I really like snakes. When I was in 4th grade, I rented my friend Michael’s snake for $1 for the day because my mom wouldnt let me get my own. I have since owned three. 10) I have always struggled with attention issues and my second grade Scottish teacher’s report card comment was, “Katie is a wee bit windblown.” 11) I always got in trouble in school for talking too much. Probably not a surprising fact to many… 12) My kids bring out the best and the worst in me and I can’t imagine my life without them!
