Nurses and staff like coming to my room, when and if needed, - TopicsExpress

Nurses and staff like coming to my room, when and if needed, because I shower every day, change clothes, wear decent attire, white Brooks Brothers shirts, vests and get to work on my laptop. Fb friends. E-mails. Music. And rereading my 3rd novel attempt Aeron Rowan Teague: Art Crime Detective... 4th one might be somewhat autobiographical -- The Delightful Savage... I refuse to wear the hospital gowns to show my ass as one or two do or wear a diaper. There are some seriously sick people but I believe some wish to come across sick rather than try to look and smell healthy. I have my robe and matching pyjamas, leather slippers, polished shoes, pants and extra shirts. This morning, I did my laundry in the shower, then put the wet pants and shirt on the windowsill. I once was a man of sartorial splendour and I am straight as an arrow. I almost thought of redecorating the room by adding flowers for me and a recent patient -- a young black married woman with no stem cell match. I have a window so I can gaze out. She has her cell phone with plenty of calls. But at night when she is sleeping, I have to get up almost every hour, hour and a half, two to go to the wash-room. There you go.... they give me urinals... so I don`t have to unplug the machine and let run on battery so I can take it with me. I want to wash my hands so there you go... I am learning to have power naps. And so will she. Let me know if this too much info... overload... or you are interest in knowing something about what`s going on and the procedures and protocols.
