Interviews London 9th June 2014. The King Khalid University Hospital is situated in the centre of Riyadh, close to the King Saud University campus. It is an affiliated teaching hospital for the university medical school and was founded in 1982. It is classified as a general and subspecialty hospital and is a very well-equipped facility. The hospital provides both primary and secondary care services for Saudi patients from the Northern Riyadh area. It also provides tertiary care services to all Saudi citizens on referral basis. Medicine including Oncology haematology Surgery, Cardiac Surgery, Pediatrics, Emergency, Ob/ Gyn. Now being funded for expansion we are seeking to recruit for the following posts. Nursing: Director of Nursing., Nurse Managers and Head Nurses and staff nurses for general and specialist areas. Physicians: Consultant Hospital Doctors. Anaesthesia, ICU, Oncology, Radiology, Urology, Ob/GYN. Allied Health: Occupational therapists, Physiotherapists, Radiographers, Anaesthetic technicians, Dental technicians, Cardiac technicians. Saudi Arabia is strengthening its healthcare sector and has now commissioned a significant extension to the King Khalid University Hospital at King Saud University, the oldest and most prestigious university in Riyadh. The extension of the King Saud University Medical City comprises of several new buildings for the university The first stage includes a new National Diabetic Center, a new Dental college and an expansion of the medical college. Medical College extension The Medical College extension project includes teaching facilities, lecture halls, public spaces, a full scale skills lab, mosques and a spectacular main auditorium with a audience capacity of 1,400. National Diabetic Centre The National Diabetes Centre will be a national institution for diabetes, containing research and central functions, as well as treatment for complicated cases. It will in effect be a miniature hospital, with outpatient facilities, radiology, a large polyclinics department, bed wards, and counselling and education. Dental College extension The administration of KSU has been constantly committed to equip the school with the state-of-the-art facilities beneficial to advance dental education. This extension to the existing Dental college will provide these facilities, including the very latest technologies.
