Nutrition tip: For weight loss, dont spend too much time and effort nixing sodium from your diet. As long as youre not eating many packaged foods, you should be good. 1) a little sodium is good - esp if you sweat a lot in your workouts, and 2) if you avoid sodium like the plague, and then randomly eat a meal with a high sodium content, chances are the bloat from it will be much more than it would be if you ate a moderate amount in every day meals. Losing weight takes patience, persistence, and consistency. It can also be pretty dang tough. Focus your energy on what makes the biggest difference - a healthy deficit, eating whole foods, and paying attention to when/how much protein and carb youre eating with each meal.
