Nyla did an Amazing Job yesterday, she had landed her back handspring in the floor over and over for the first time. I had told her that when she landed her back handspring on the floor I would start her on her round off backhanspring. Last night I followed through, I started her on those skills, this was the first time that I gave directions exactly what she needed to do in order to land her skills, this was the end result, both of us were smiling ear to ear, her excitement in her eyes was priceless. Nyla is an Amazing Athlete, shes hard working, dedicated, Very Talented, She has A Beautiful Smile, what stands out is her confidence, and courage. When I first met Nyla she was so shy, would never talk, and she would get upset when she felt that she could do the skill, when her mom said I think Im going to take her out, I SAID NO, dont do that please give her more time, I promise shes going to be ok, this Nyla now, if she would have taken her out, this would have not happen. God and our Athletes have helped me get through each class, I look forward to coaching Nyla for many more years if its GODS WILL..
