O Allah! Forgive me for keeping the Angel on my left busy. And forgive me for keeping the Angel on my right idle. Words many, You have given me. I beg of You. Grant me silence and tears. Allow me to work with gratitude, always knowing that the mountains of my sins are chasing me. From fear of You, let me run to Your Intense Mercy and Forgiveness, on the road of obedience to You. I have the words of repentance, but I lack the tears. I always feel hollow. My Lord, grant me tears, that my heart may revive, that my soul may surrender to Your Will. I have become a desert, yearning for rain. Take knowledge away from me if You find my actions displeasing. If I cannot handle my du’a, then make me disappear. Sinning against You is a pain I can no longer bear. Forgive me again for my improper intentions. I know not how to speak to You without words. I know not how to stop the whisperer from twisting me around and around. Ah, You are All Hearer, All-Seer. Tears and silence. Hear and see the rest. You alone, I trust. You are Acceptor of Repentance, The Perfectly Wise, The Subtle One, Most Powerful.Aamin yaa rabbi.
