O Facebook, Facebook my Capt., my Capt., well I see that the big dream cruise has started, what can I say Ive been there couple times. Souped up old cars many memories certainly not a bad way to spend a weekend. What mostly I like our peoples old stories, some people like to put cakes and pies horrible looking dishes on her of one sort or another, well me I like mostly the pictures people put up on here and the stories they tell, so thats just my preference so what?. I remember one time I badgered my mother to no end to buy a go kart, that was in the window in the Western auto shop just west of 12 mile, and Tyler well she told me after much much much debate if I could come up with half the money she would agree to let me buy it. Well at the time I was no more than 1112 years old, I had three jobs worked at the Green Lantern 12 mile John R, and to paper routes, so yes I did come up with my half of the money, I bought that go kart souped it up, me, and Ray Baldwin on a weekend went on our own dream cruise on that go kart, Ray Baldwin who was couple years older than me set on the back of that go kart sitting on a case of paps blue ribbon beer, which was nasty but pretty cheap beer at the time, I think we made it all the way from the big boy on 9 mile and Woodward to Teds before we were caught tooling through Mavericks on Woodward before the cops got us, that was the end of my go kart, and me and Ray Baldwins dream cruise. I know people do not like me to post this stuff on Facebook so I will from now on tried very hard to just be a peeping Tom in here, and just try to find a nice cake or pie to post, thank you.
