O God, you are my God; earnestly I seek you; my soul thirsts for you; my flesh faints for you, as in dry and weary land where there is no water. - Psalm 63:1 Amazing verse huh? I want God more than I want water, we need water on a daily basis and also like water, do we desire God a daily basis? Elsewhere in the Psalms we read, "How lovely is your dwelling place, O Lord Almighty! My soul yearns, even faints for the courts of the Lord; my heart and my flesh cry out for the living God." (Psalm 82:1-2) How hungry are we for God to be impacting our daily lives? How thirsty are we for "the spring of living water" (Jeremiah 2:13) to be flowing through our lives and touching others?
