O.K., let me elaborate on why I am so emotional about my hatred of Ronald Reagan, not that anyone should bother caring. The thing is, I strongly agree with everything the man claimed to represent. Democracy, individual responsibility, the fact that our government is too powerful and that we should balance our budget, you know, fiscal responsibility. The thing is he did the exact opposite. His record speaks for itself, he borrowed and spent more than any president before him, increasing the size and power of the federal government. Also, he supported the overthrow of emerging democracies in Asia, Central America, and Africa. Backing evil SOBs like Saddam Hussein, Mobuto, and yea even the Ayatolla Khomeini. Why? To take care of his rich cronies, that is all Ronald Reagan was about, same as Barack Obama. My issue with Reagan is the same as my issue with the mainstream Republican Party. Your party elects hypocrites and sycophants to the filthy rich and you have made a hero of the biggest hypocrite of them all. So, if you of Republicans would like to A: tell me what a conservative is anymore and B: what Ronald Reagan DID, not said, but DID to make him such a great conservative, I would really like to know. I am listening.
