O Lord, let me be faithful when everything is giving way; let me be healed as I bring healing to others; let me be hopeful in these desperate times; let me obedient when I just want to do my will; let me be compassionate in all this indifference; let me be steadfast when I want to quit; let me speak truth despite the lies and noise; let me trust when I cant see You; let me rejoice in the flood of tears; let me be humble in an age of self-exaltation; let me be loving in the face of hatred; let me be peaceful in the midst of all this chaos; let me be passionate so to overcome the numbness; let me be evidence of You when others are seeking; let my heart belong to You above all things in this world.
