O Lord, let your ear be attentive to the prayer of this your servant and to the prayer of your servants who delight in revering your name. Give your servant success today by granting him favor in the presence of this man. I was cupbearer to the king. The king said to me, What is it you want? Then I prayed to the God of heaven ...And because the gracious hand of my God was upon me, the king granted my requests. (Neh 1:11, 2:4, 2:8b NIV) Prayer: LORD, there are times when I need the help of other people to accomplish the tasks You have given me to do. Help me recognize when I need help and not be hesitant to ask. Give me wisdom to know who to ask and what to ask for, and grant me favor with them when I ask. Thank You for the assurance that You know my needs before I ask and You always provide all that I need when I need it most. In Jesus name, Amen.
