O k. Long day and most of you already know why. When the phone rings before 8:00AM you know it probably isnt good news. And so I find myself in PA at my moms house but Mom isnt here. You see she is with my dad and her Savior tonight. I dont have any photos to add tonight. Im sure I will find some tomorrow. Tonight I will sleep in her chair and feel her presence whispering softly to comfort me. Many of you knew her or at least met her. For those who did not have that privilege, my moms life cannot be summed up in a few words. There has never been anyone who met her who did not like her. Her health issues from childhood helped to shape her into a caring, care taking, love everybody woman. She may not have liked what you were doing but that never stopped her from caring about you. Being a grandmother and greatgrandmother was an incredibly special role she enjoyed. Seeing her grandchildren nurtured and loved as she had nurtured and loved her own children gave her a sense of pride although she was never prideful. Mom had taken care of other people most of her life. Her sister and brother benefited from her careful attention and she did a stellar job taking care of her own mother. We even moved in with my Grammy for a time to be better able to help her. Mom was put on this earth to do Gods will. She knew The Lord on a personal level and lived her life exemplifying her faith. Uncountable numbers have been touched by her either directly or because of her in some way. All will miss her. None more than me. Thank you Mom for showing me the face of God in your countenance and thank you God for sharing the soul of Betty Catherine Wagner Wolfgang with us.
