O lord, thou hast searched me, and known me. Thou knowest my downsitting and mine uprising, thou understandest my thought afar off. Thou compassest my path and my lying down, and art acquainted with all my ways. For there is not a word in my tongue, but, lo, O Lord, thou knowest it altogether. - Psalms 139:1-4 LIFEWALKS&TALKS: As the lords children, He is all around us, hovering over us as we seek His Face, for He is actually nearer to us than we can ever believe, and closer than the air we breathe....However, if only we could recognize the Lords Presence, we would never feel lonely again, for He knows every thought before we think it, and every word before we speak it....Basically, the Lords Presence impinges on our innermost beings, in which we can then see the absurdity of trying to hide anything from Him....Therefore, even though we may be able to easily deceive other people, and ourselves as well, we could never deceive the Lord, for He has already read us like open books in large-print....Nonetheless, deep within ourselves, most of us have some awareness of the Lords imminent Presence; but some, instead, still choose to run from Him and vehemently deny His existence because His closeness terrifies them....Moreover, we, as the Lords children, have nothing to fear, for He has cleansed us by His Blood and clothed us in them in His Righteousness as well....With this in mind, let us be blessed by the Lords intimate nearness, for since He lives in us, let Him also live through us, shining His Light into the darkness in Jesus Name. (Psalms 139:1-4)
