OBA ABDULRAHEEM IS NOTHING BUT HOPE FOR THE HOPELESS. Age, wealth, status, fame, & political sagacity a times are not the good parameters to judge whom honor or leadership is due, but the level of responsiveness to the services of humanity, when it is needed. Professor Oba Abdulraheem might not has millions in his bank account or being known worldwide like him, but when we are talking about helping the helpless & hopeless people for nothing sake but for Gods sake, he is number one. Oba would not promised anything & left it unfulfilled. He has been rendering selflessness & tirelessness services to the people for over thirty years, when Lagbaja is no where to be found. This is the reason while the royal highness Alh. Ibraheem Zulu Gambari, (Sheeeeehuuuuu) the 11th emir of Ilorin, lauded & recognized his efforts by conferred on him the title of TALBA Meaning, defender. Prof. Oba Abdulraheem has tested & trusted in many areas. During his tenure as VC @ unilorin, he made it possible, the vision & mission of many sons of soil to be an educationists & men of letters by offering them admissions into the citadel of knowledge. Many became employed & self reliance through his helps. The most interest thing about prof. Oba is that, he didnt know how to tell lies. Many politicians of nowadays can promise you to build a bridge where there is no river & make you king when you have no royal blood in your vain. Me lo lafe ka, ninu eyin adapele? #Yoruba#. Yoruba adage says the reward for good deed, is, good deed. Kwarans, this is the right time to pay him (Oba Abu) back for all what he has done for us. Lets build a huge wall round him & help him to become a governor. There is nothing people are doing the he has not done. But for the sake of us, lets give him our supports to right many wrongs that this present government of dealer & maiguard have done to our state. It is not possible for us to go back & change the past, so, lets look to the future & make it a better place to live for our unborn generations. May God help & be with us.
