OBA congratulates Udom, Akpabio The standard bearer of the Peoples Democratic Party for Uyo Senatorial District in the 2015 general elections, Obong Bassey Albert has congratulated immediate past Secretary to the State Government, Mr. Udom Gabriel Emmanuel on his emergence as candidate of the party in the recently concluded Gubernatorial primaries held in Uyo. The former commissioner for finance, also thanked the people of Ikot Ekpene Senatorial District for nominating the states Governor Chief Godswill Akpabio as the standard bearer of the PDP. He noted that it was necessary to build on the existing transformation agenda of the present administration and urged the people to stand by the duo for victory in the general elections. Obong Albert stressed that the victory recorded by the duo was as a result of their meritorious service to the state and nation and called on people seeking political offices in the state to emulate the gesture exhibited the the duo to become productive citizens. He also thanked the people of Uyo Senatorial district for finding him worthy to be nominated as candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party for the district in the 2015 general elections.
