OBAMA’S WAR ON CHRISTIANITY CONTINUES – AIR FORCE CHAPLAIN REBUKED FOR BEING CHRISTIAN A Christian U.S. Air Force Chaplain has been reprimanded for quoting a heroic WW II chaplain, saying, “There are no atheists in foxholes,” according to Breitbart News. This is the latest incident in a long list of anti-Christian discrimination in the secular military climate encouraged by the present Commander-in-Chief – Barack Hussein Obama. The phrase, “There are No Atheists in Foxholes,” was coined by legendary WW II U.S. Army Catholic Chaplain, Father William Cummings. The phrase expresses a phenomenon that many Christians and non-Christians experience in combat – a realization that life is finite, precious, and orchestrated by a supernatural force. In combat, men and women come face to face with potential death. They often ask questions about God and even cry out to Him for help in their time of desperate need. It is under those circumstances that many troops come to know this power by name – Jesus. Lt. Col. Kenneth Reyes was trying to express those historical facts in a devotion posted to his Chaplain’s Corner in Joint-Base Elmendorf-Richardson’s online newspaper this week. The devotion drew immediate condemnation from the anti-Christian activist, Mikey Weinstein. Weinstein was invited to help the Obama-Hagel Defense Department craft policies on religious toleration even after he called Christian troops “traitors and spiritual rapists.” The base commander, Col. Duffy, removed the chaplain’s reflections from the website within 5 hours of Weinstein’s complaint. Even though the devotion was removed, Col. Duffy permitted 6 hateful comments condemning the chaplain to remain online, according to Fox News. Weinstein wants the chaplain formally punished for his “insensitivity.” The Air Force has not commented as to whether it plans to discipline Lt. Col. Reyes.
