OBJECTIONS NEEDED TO SAVE ICONIC BEN WYVIS BY 7th February - for two applications detailed below. If you care about this area, have visited and loved it please help us try and stop this destruction. Woodlands wind farm - ABO 13/04703/FUL wam.highland.gov.uk/wam/applicationDetails.do?activeTab=neighbourComments&keyVal=MXWEPWIH09A00 Heres one comment that shows the mood of the Highland people: The turbine scandal has now matured into a full on crime against the British people, the British landscape and the British environment. I am just frothing at the mouth with anger at seeing yet another dire turbine application. Allow me to quote the words of Charlie Chaplin in his film, The Dictator [read Dictator as political proponents of renewable energy, which is not fit for purpose]: The misery that is now upon us is but the passing of greed - the bitterness of men who fear the way of human progress [cheap coal and gas, modern nuclear - which is still cheaper than wind and totally reliable]. The hate of men will pass, and dictators die, and the power they took from the people will return to the people. You see, within the next decade the subsidies will dry up totally, political heads will roll, green lobby groups will crawl to die under the nearest stone and turbines will be held up as symbols of a mad and dying EU. Dont be on the wrong side of history, councillors. Many of you now have an irredeemably bad legacy regarding turbines, but some of you can salvage some dignity in the dying days of turbine mania by rejecting this outright. Like another objector said, I would be embarrassed if this was erected. There is a second application here - nearly slipped under the radar for 14 turbines - same mountain threatened. Carn Gorm Wind Farm - P I Renewables - 13/04791/FUL A simple comment that says it all: ENOUGH IS ENOUGH wam.highland.gov.uk/wam/simpleSearchResults.do;jsessionid=7631D864FC6FFFE5114FB63636B26B8B?action=firstPage
