OBUMMACARE.... If you have to apply for health insurance (obamacare) this is what I have learned.... 1. if you show you make 1 penny less than $16K a year, you must apply for Medicaid or pay full price for health insurance.... (no its not affordable) 2. if you say you make $16,500 a year you get a subsidy by the govt and health plans (not great coverage but ok) are less than $100 a month... however if you make more than you claim (they will audit your taxs for 5 years) you will pay a fine, face jail, etc.... 3. once you reach non poverty status, the premiums are not subsidized and expensive as hell and policy sucks..... 4. if you sign up at nevadahealthlink and dont like what it says, you can delete your account on line and create a new one with different income etc.... 5. it will ask you questions like do you plan to pay taxs in 2014? and if you dont you can still proceed!!!! (nice) and do you have a social security number available??? if not you can still proceed (nice)!!!! it does finally ask if you are a citizen or legal (but doesnt ask for proof, nice!!!!)... and you must answer if you are a minority or American indian but doesnt care if you are white (im sure so they can say look how many minoritys we helped come election time) and it will also sign you up for welfare and food stamps on same site..... Bottom line..... if you are poor, you can get food stamps, welfare and subsidized health care..... if you are middle class and above, you are forced to pay more than health care cost a year ago (when you couldnt afford it) because you need to share the wealth...... (nice) and sad part is there will be pleanty of voters looking for freebes this election again instead of jobs (why we still have vacant buildings on every corner that used to have business in them 5 yrs ago)
