OCC Official Chart Update - Close of business Tuesday: 5 Seconds Of Summer are going head-to-head with reigning chart queen Ella Henderson in the race to this week’s Official Number 1 single. The Aussie boyband’s new track, Don’t Stop, is currently leading the pack on today’s Official Singles Chart Update, while Ella slides into second place with her debut release, Ghost, which topped the chart on Sunday. 5SOS currently have a lead of 22,000 copies over Ella at this midway stage, however the 18-year-old’s sales momentum increased over night, so this chart race could go down to the wire. The album, which features current single, West Coast, counts The Black Keys’ Dan Auerbach amongst its producers, and has been described as Lana as “a little more stripped down, but still cinematic and dark.” Lana previously hit the top spot on the Official Albums Chart back in 2012, when debut album, Born To Die, went straight in at Number 1 and became one of the fastest selling albums of the year. Ultraviolence has sold nearly 30,000 copies in the UK so far this week and currently sits over 14,000 copies ahead of today’s Official Albums Chart Update Number 2, Linkin Park’s self-produced, sixth studio album, The Hunting Party.
