OCTOBER 9 SPIRITUAL CIRCUMCISION – PART 2 “And the Lord God commanded man, saying, of every tree of the garden thou mayest freely eat, but of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, thou shall not eat of it: for in the day that thou eatest thereof thou shall die” Gen. 2:16-17 When God created man he gave him what it takes to make choices, but He also gave man instructions to guide his actions aright. In order to destroy man, Satan aroused a desire in him to become a god, he said, “your eyes shall be opened and you shall be as gods, knowing good and evil”. The opening of man’s eyes to know good and evil made him technically independent of God. That was the emergence of SELF or the sinful nature. The implication was that man suddenly became conscious of himself and died towards God. SELF is the fallen nature of man; it usually gravitates towards sin and death. For SELF to take its leave from your life, you must be spiritually circumcised. PRAYER POINTS Every invisible weight that is depressing my spiritual life, be broken in Jesus name The foreskin of my heart, receive spiritual circumcision in Jesus name Every spiritual Egyptian-carry-over in my life is destroyed in Jesus name. Every sinful, mental carry-over from my past, be destroyed in Jesus name. Everything in me that hinders me from taking my possession, be cut off in Jesus name. Every mass of ancestral covenants in my life, be broken. Every mass of generational curses in my life, be broken.
