OCTOBER SCHOOL HOLIDAYS AT PARNELL LIBRARY The theme for these holidays at Auckland Libraries is time travelling, with some cool activities happening in and out Parnell of the Library! Wed 2nd October- 3-4pm- Artefact Hunt in The Auckland War Memorial Museum- A trip to the Museum where kids can decide what they would save from the past to keep for the future! Kids need a parent to supervise, 7-70yrs Sat 5th October -2.30-3.30-Fun and Games from back in the day!- What did kids do before playstation? Come and find out! Hopscotch and elastics and more! Sat 12 October -2.30-3.30- Fun Craft Afternoon!- Come and make a paper toy Tardis, Mess with some famous works of art and more! Throughout the holidays- Come and pick up an entry form! • Design/draw a time machine or time travelling suit! • Write a creative story about your time travelling experience! And in the library we will be having a time travelling treasure hunt throughout the holidays!!
