ODFA are one of my very favourite organic companies. First I visited a couple of the farms. way before the co-op started, and I was impressed. Actually I was involved in the certification of Ron and Bevs farm, the first organic dairy farm in Australia, and the factory that sold their milk. The food scientists from the factory were worried about cleanliness in a dairy that did not use conventional cleansers, but after they sent their lab people to the farm, they told us it was the cleanest dairy they had ever seen (all done with cider vinegar). Then when the cooperative started, I was impressed by their clever business systems and sound ethics. Then I tasted the product, and I have been a dedicated Organic Dairy Farmers fan ever since. You will find their milk, butter and a variety of cheeses in my fridge whenever you visit!
