ODM SUMMONS HOMA BAY SENATORIAL ASPIRANTS AFTER BUNGLED NOMINATIONS. Orange Democratic Movement ( ODM) has convened a meeting with all aspirants for Homa Bay senate seat after Mondays nomination exercise was disrupted by rowdy youth. ODM Secretary General Ababu Namwamba said the party will communicate the way forward during the Tuesday meeting that will be held at the party head office. “All the aspirants for the party ticket have been advised to come to Nairobi for a meeting with the National Elections Board Commissioners at the party headquarters where an appropriate announcement shall be made,” said Namwamba. The party condemned the chaos that led to the cancellation of the nomination exercise “We condemn what happened in the strongest terms possible and urge the police to investigate the matter and prosecute those responsible for the chaos,” said Namwamba in a statement.
