OF POSTS AND COUNTERPOSTS My facebook timeline be like a battlefield these days. The grace and anti-religious cum anti-dogma preachers versus the em...em...I dont even know what to call them sef...the people on the other side sha. Im sure yall have like a 1000+ friends on fb. Many of them are not serious with the things of God at all. Please let us christians/preachers not give them the impression that we are so factionalized and confused. No doubt there is a lot of junk out there, but some of then can be tolerated...not encouraged though but tolerated because of the adverse effects that trying to uproot them too soon may have on others. Lemme refer us to some scriptures: Matthew 13:24-30 (NIV) 24 Jesus told them another parable: “The kingdom of heaven is like a man who sowed good seed in his field. 25 But while everyone was sleeping, his enemy came and sowed weeds among the wheat, and went away. 26 When the wheat sprouted and formed heads, then the weeds also appeared. 27 “The owner’s servants came to him and said, ‘Sir, didn’t you sow good seed in your field? Where then did the weeds come from?’ 28 “‘An enemy did this,’ he replied. “The servants asked him, ‘Do you want us to go and pull them up?’ 29 “‘No,’ he answered, ‘because while you are pulling the weeds, you may uproot the wheat with them. 30 Let both grow together until the harvest. At that time I will tell the harvesters: First collect the weeds and tie them in bundles to be burned; then gather the wheat and bring it into my barn.’” Also see Mark 9:38-39 (AMP) 38 John said to Him, Teacher, we saw a man who does not follow along with us driving out demons in Your name, and we forbade him to do it, because he [a]is not one of our band [of Your disciples]. 39 But Jesus said, Do not restrain or hinder or forbid him; for no one who does a mighty work in My name will soon afterward be able to speak evil of Me. Jesus in His wisdom allows somethings to be. Do take note of that Matthew 13:29. Many people who are not enlightened still try to preach the gospel they know because they love God and wanna advance His kingdom. Some of them have not been well taught. Some dont have access to great revelation filled messages and books. God will still use them notwithstanding e.g Apollos. Some of the churches that me sef will never enter are being used by God to draw many close to Himself. Thats the goal. Spreading His knowledge over all the earth. Lets understand this and bear with each other. Refuse to be excessively critical and confrontational (its needed at times I admit) as it may just portray you as a person puffed up with knowledge. That on its own will be counterproductive. That been said, I must rep yall. On so many occasions, your posts have watered and refreshed my spirit. I thank God for the Spirit of wisdom and revelation that you have been given. Please keep preaching the truth you know and itll keep making men free (even though some hate it). Much love! N.B: Resist the temptation to try to re-explain these scriptures back to me (trying to explain the hebrew and greek meaning of wheat etc or the context in which Jesus was speaking)...Lol.
