OFFICE OF SIERRA LEONE HAJJ AFFAIRS 18th July, 2014 PRESS RELEASE The Ministry of Social Welfare, Gender and Children’s Affairs in collaboration with the Office of the Sierra Leone Hajj Affairs wish to inform the general public that arrangements for the 2014 Hajj pilgrimage are in progress. In this regard, the Technical Hajj Committee is pleased to inform the general public that the fees for the 2014 Hajj is $4,500 (Four Thousand Five Hundred United States Dollars) and includes: one return Air Ticket; Accommodation; Feeding; Payment for slaughtering of Lamb and other Charges. Medical Examination Forms are now available for collection at the Hajj Secretariat, Ministry of Social Welfare, Gender and Children’s Affairs at New England Ville in Freetown. Hajj Payment Slips will only be issued to those who successfully go through the medical process thereby enabling them to fulfill payment requirements at the Sierra Leone Commercial Bank. The Hajj Secretariat will be open to the public between the hours of 9:00a.m and 5:00 p.m. from Mondays to Fridays.
