Apatani Peoples Forum in its strongest term condemns the barbaric and cowardice act of a group of miscreant who physically assaulted Narang Gumbo, Executive Engineer (Electrical) Kurungkumey Division without any reason at Damsite, Naharlagun. His personal car also was recklessly damaged by the miscreant. Narang Gumbo is a simple, honest and devoted government servant. Act of Physical assault and car damage of such a public Officer is sentimental for entire Arunachal Pradesh. Yesterday such crime was incidental for someone else, today is for a poor and honest government servant Narang Gumbo and tomorrow is your turn. Criminal activities in Arunachal Pradesh are rising at highest velocity because people are not jointly reacting like a cultured society. Illegal activities are carried out publicly in the land of rising sun, because righteous people are not rising against it. Oh God, so many criminals and I am alone. Escaping from entangle with criminals and from witnessing the police and court is the ideology best known to people of land of rising sun, now better termed as land of rising crimes. Of true, if any one cries out that a Wild animal had taken entry into town, entire town rush into hunting that harmless and friendly beast. But we are reluctant for a little joint action against harmful and unfriendly miscreants except bulky of backbite next in the news against administration and police of late. Police and administration may help & protect you but not better than the help and protection one rendered to oneself and his fellow citizen. Any miscreant can be contained if you can spare one minute of your time to rush in when someone cries out for a help. Civil society and Damsite dwellers should be obliged help the police investigation and court proceeding so that crime is not vicious in their colony. Help in misfortune is subject to non-condition. Legislatures of Arunachal Pradesh are requested to come out from August Session with a enactment of Special Police empowerment Act or revival of APCOCA with necessary amendment.
