OFFICIAL INVITE of the Caribbean Cycling Road Championships - Curaçao 2013 CONVOCATORY Curaçao Cycling Federation through the Caribbean Cycling Federation (CCF), invites all affiliated Cycling Federations from the entire Caribbean to participate in the Caribbean Cycling Road Championships for Men and Women, Elite categories, to be held in Curaçao from October 19th to October 20th, 2013. We hereby extend an invitation to the Cycling Federation of your Country to participate in this prestigious event. A copy of the invitation will be sent to each country’s National Olympic Committee for the awareness and to facilitate with any assistance that could be given. Each country must compete in their National Team Uniforms. Each country must provide a copy of their National Anthem and FLAG. COMPETITION PLACE Individual Time Trial (I.T.T.) Start and finish line: The roads surrounding Barber to West Point is selected as the start/finish for both Men and Women Individual Time Trial. Distance: Men will run 2 laps, 40km Women will run 1 lap, 20km Road Race Start and Finish line: Schottegatweg Oost outside of town. Circuit : 7.1km Men will run 18X for 128 km Women will run 10X 71 km Registration Registration fee is $100.00 USD per Country/Nation. Rules The competition will be held under the COPACI/Caribbean Federation rules. Category Women Elite: Older than 19 years. Men Elite: Older than 19 years. Participation Conditions The Curaçao Federation provides will provide to each delegation, five (5) male riders, three (3) female riders and two (2) officials. Accommodation and Meals From Friday October 18th (lunch) till October 21th (breakfast). Transportation Airport to hotel, hotel to airport. Hotel to competition place, competition place to hotel. Observations Each delegation must submit: names of riders, delegates and amount of Bikes (for custom), also the date, time and flight number of arrival. For custom we need serial number, color and brand. The deadline for the riders list and technical stuff is until Monday 2 Oktober The deadline for the delegation arrival information is until Thursday 10 Oktober The Organizing Committee is not responsible for the pickup, transport and reception at the airport and hotels, to those countries that do not submit this information in accordance with the deadline.
