OFFICIAL MEDIA STATEMENT The people of Antigua and Barbuda have elected a new Government in that of the Antigua and Barbuda Labour Party. I will take this time to first congratulate them on their victory. Additionally, I implore the electorate to hold the ABLP accountable for promises made over the next five years. To the supporters of the United Progressive Party, you have fought a good fight and now is the time to regroup and become stronger than ever. I extend congratulations to Dr. Hon Winston Baldwin Spencer, Hon. Joanne Massiah and Hon. Willmoth Daniel for their victories. For those who are celebrating, please bear in mind that this is a free country and that persons like myself cannot be silenced so easily. At the end of the day, we are all citizens of this country with a right to speak. My support remains behind the United Progressive Party regardless of the outcome of this General Election. Chaneil C.
