OFFICIAL STATEMENT FROM THE GENERAL ON THE ISSUE OF CHILD MARRIAGE IN NIGERIA I weep for my country Nigeria;yes I cry for her! Why on earth will those that are supposed to make laws to protect us and our children be the ones trying to destroy the future of our kids in the name of a demonic law legalizing child marriage?Am am so ashamed to be seeing this evil in my own generation! Senetor Yerima must be made to know that Nigeria is not a muslim country,we have values and we are not animals!!!I join my voice with the voice of reasoning to condemn this stupidity and madness!When the rightous keeps mute,the evil men matches on;we have other serious needs in this country,instead Yerima and co to sit and find solutions to the chellenges of our nation like illetracy,unemployment,crime,bad roads,power problems,security,terrorism,etc,they are busy planning on how to exploit our children! Am calling on the UN,EU,AU and other right thinking bodies,including the clergy and people of goodwill to stand and say no in one voice against this abomination that is about to happen in Nigeria,Unicef take note!!!
