OFFICIAL STATEMENT Mission 1101 Commitee are pleased to announce that we have reached our target to buy Tommy to site him permanently in Seaham on The Green on North Terrace. We now have all funding in place to make the payment to Ray by Monday the 04th August!! The Justgiving page will be closed down by tomorrow morning to allow for last minute auction donations to be made, although the page will be left open so that people can continue to view the lovely messages that accompanied their generous donations. The confirmation of this can be seen on the regional news tonight and I along with the full Commitee and volunteers would like to thank you all for your support and fundraising efforts over the last 12 weeks. Its been incredible. We also would like to thank Ray for allowing us the opportunity of coming together as a community to buy Tommy. It was a great leap of faith for Ray, as he had turned down full payment offers elsewhere to allow us to reach our target to keep Tommy where he belongs! Its amazing what our town and visitors can do when we put our mind to it! WELL DONE EVERYONE!
