OFFICIALS PLEASED WITH VOTER TURNOUT Allegany County saw nearly 47 per cent of registered voters going to the polls on Tuesday, with nearly 45 per cent of voters casting ballots across the state of Maryland. Baltimore City had the lowest voter turnout with 35.57 of voters participating. The highest turnout in the state was in Kent County, where nearly 59 per cent of registered voters casting their ballots.
