OGREENIC ECO LODGE, one of the pioneering eco friendly hospitality projects in Bhutan to be commissioned by February 2015. It is located at Nyashigaykha in the south of Wangdue Dzong amidst agrarian settings and straight above the right bank of Puna Tshangchu. It is perched at ten minutes drive distance from the main town of Wangdue through motorable road across Dangchu River. Alternatively, the site is also accessible by road that diverts from the main Tsirang high from, near Hisithangkha. With four eco lodges around existing traditional two-storied farmhouse, the entire infrastructure is fully equipped with eco friendly appliances to harness natural energies with introduction of sustainable waste management system. In addition, locally available building materials such as mud bricks and rice hay and local wood are being used for the construction purpose. Besides, Its operation cycle is solely envisioned to benefit its surrounding local communities by giving employment opportunities, using locally grown agricultural products and adoption of other community support programs.
