OGUN BEGINS CIVIL SERVICE DAY CELEBRATION TOMORROW Activities commemorating the 2013 Civil Service Day in Ogun State themed “Enhancing Accountability, Transparency and Integrity” kick off tomorrow, Friday, June 21st with a Jumat service at the Governor’s office mosque, Oke-Mosan, Abeokuta. A commemorative thanksgiving service is scheduled for Sunday, June 23rd, 2013 at the Government House Chapel Isale-Igbein at 8.00a.m. A release by the Chairman, Committee on Civil Service Day Celebration and the Permanent Secretary, Bureau of Establishments and Training, Mrs. Yetunde Kujore indicated that a “Know–Your Health Diagnostic Programme” comes on Tuesday, June 25th at the Cinema Hall of the June 12, Cultural Centre starting at 9.00am. The statement added that the semi finals of a football competition among Ministries, Departments and Agencies had been slated for the M.K.O Abiola stadium on Wednesday, June 26th by 2:00p.m. This is to be followed on Thursday, 27th June with a symposium to be addressed by guest speakers including Commissioner for Finance, Mrs. Kemi Adeosun, Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Information & Strategy, Alhaji Fatai Opebiyi and his counterpart at the Bureau of Political and Administration, Mr. Oluremi Obayomi at the June 12 Cultural Centre at 2.00 p.m. The grand finale would hold on Friday June 28th with the finals of the football competition at the M.K.O Abiola international Stadium, Kuto Abeokuta by 4:00p.m. The release enjoined all civil servants to attend the activities punctually.
