OGUN STATE “CASH AND CARRY” FACEBOOKERS. Citizen journalism the world over is becoming one of the fastest ways of getting the populace informed. It is also helping in the building of consciousness of citizenry. In that regards one would have expect our people in Ogun State to build on that template and help in building a better society. Alas, citizen’s journalism has now been basterdized almost beyond redemption by some of our facebookers. The novel idea of facebook founded by Mark Sukerbeg is now been turn to an avenue of making cheap money by some of our people purely for political reason and greed. Take a cursory look at some of these people that ordinarily should be the eggheads of our society; Dapo Oke, Tunji Akinlade, Dayo Rufia, Wale Adedayo, Alli Sulimon Abiodun, who we are told is a school proprietor, Adegbesan Adekoyejo a hacker of note or better still a rogue of great magnitude, Tosin Awotesu Madam Fagbo herself, Kayode Odunaro who before now is always interested working with Government In power (AGIP) one hope he has finally seen the light and the need to stay put at where he is now. How on earth can any sane and serious politician take the like of Wale Adedayo, Tunji , Dapo and all the aforementioned people serious when they are busy gallivanting from political camp to the other. These people are nothing but bunch of political parasites, whose contributions on facebook is always laced with precautionary motives. Before now the S.F. Ojo Emmanuel Adediran thread used to be popular among our people, the site has now become the shadow of its old self because there is no sincerity behind what he is doing. Even S.F. Ojos love for money is beyond human estimation. May God help him? For the likes of razor tongue and loquacious Nafiu Olawale Abimbola, one can understand his predicament because he is jobless. Quite unfornate for him, the man he is trying to milk from is also broke like a church rat. This category of jobless facebookers include the likes of diminutive but garrulous Wale Junaid who is always cap in hand to GNI even for any personal domestic obligation. Well, the proceeds from the book launch might come handy for now. Half baked and shameless Otunba Sanusi Adeniyi, Lekan Rahamon Oyeyemi a talkative and cantankerous fellow, Mustapha Musa Dapo an Islamic devotee but mundane human being, Bakare Jboy a useless personality who is always at the beck & call of MR SK, he actually didn’t have any life of his own, unknowingly for him SK won’t be there for him forever. This list includes but not limited to Don Teejay, Badero Olusola Maiyegun Glassgow, Fatia Adesegun, Idowu Mathew Idoma. It is a bit difficult where to categorize the like of steve Oniyide who have continued to operate like a poisonous serpent especially after his celebrated burst-up with Mr. HIV (SicK). We are aware he was on the payroll before.The dole out must have been stopped by the HIV Man himself by now. These are the class of itinerant scavengers who are daily looking for what to eat. No doubt, they need our collective compassion. But it seems, they have no conviction, they cannot stand for anything which means they can fall for anything. They surely need prayer. While their joblessness is not totally their making, but these people can actually engage in other productive ventures rather than constitute themselves as nuisance not only on facebook but in the society at large. For the likes of acidic Oyedokun Babatunde Julius, we are told he is a teacher and one begin to wonder if his salary is not enough for him as he has turned himself to Akinlade’s Megaphone on facebook, may be for peanuts to argument his salary. The same apply to Omoba Damy Oloyede he called himself young publisher. The question is, is he not making anything from his sales? Poor boy!. How about shameless and useless Deborah Omojoye, we are told she has Job or maybe she is trying so that Akinlade can notice her too. It must be noted that the actions of these morally deficient individuals masquerading as facebooker is totally injurious to a better Ogun state. Anyway, they have neither reputation nor integrity to protect. They must borrow a leaf from the likes of Eweje All, a cerebral personality. Damilola Ogunpola who hails from a noble background but who they are trying to drag into the mud by all means, Olumo Aladikun, Ayoola Olaniyi and a host of other few individuals who do well in entertaining and educating rather than go abusive at any slightest provocation. These people must bear it in mind that it is not the amount of abuse or aspersion cast on the personality of Sen Ibikunle amosun FCA that can chase him out of the government house. Meanwhile Governor Amosun must not be distracted in his rebuilding mission. He must develop thick skin to all the verbal diahorea coming from these ostensibly unscrupulous elements whose stocks in trade is more of a cash and carry facebook support for their various unsuspecting victims
