OHIO FAST FREIGHT Back in 1980 I drove this local truck for the marine container division of Ohio Fast Freight. Trans International had an office and small pickup yard in Baltimore. This is me next to a brute of a small tractor, a U mode MACK with the Mack 300 plus engine coupled to a 10 speed Road Ranger tranny. It wasnt much on beauty contests but it could pull 46,000 lbs in a Sealand Container over the PA Turnpike with ease. By 1981 Ohio Fast Freight closed their doors after 4 tractors became missing from their Warren terminal and after all paychecks to the Baltimore office had bounced.
