OK-- Heres the plan (a) at some point in the next few days, Ill be changing this to a closed group. We intend to use this group format as a learning tool for each other. Well be setting up files on How To topics such as etsy, paypal, pinterest, photographing to sell, craft show circuits, etc. Please ask questions and answer questions if you can. I want this to hopefully progress into a valuable resource for anyone trying to figure out this whole marketing/media maze. Closing the group will keep this information for our eyes only. If you know someone that would benefit and would like to include them, you can add them at the box on the right and leave a comment for the admins that you are vouching for them. That should keep out most of the trolls and people selling shoes or whatnot =) I have a few things in the works for helping one another get some exposure. Melissa Back and I will be building a separate business page for the group. This will be where you can share your crafts that includes a link to your personal page (theoretically) or get your pictures out there to the public. This business page will be the page you share on your personal pages. That way, we all get seen. We are going to back this page up with a presence on Pinterest, as a group. Not exactly sure about the pinterest thing, since I dont really use it much (but I definitely should!!) so Im going to try and figure this out quickly and drag all yall with me =) Next thing, I have someone working on an Online Craft Mall for us all. Shes plotting away, and will have something to present within the next week or so. Dont panic, its just an idea at this point. Some of us really need help traveling the information highway. Weve been doing this at least long enough to know that you MUST have an internet storefront if you want to make any money. I hope she can simplify all that for us. This is what she does for a living, so I asked her to help. Lastly, there has been some animosity about the name. I threw something up there in about 1 second and I am totally up for a name change. If you have anything you like that will be easy to recall, please make suggestions.
