OK - QUICK BIO - and I want to read about everyone: Went to Henry, then Anderson for the music program then DOC. Must say high school was not the happiest time for me. It was 65 - 70 - a time of great social upheaval. Travelled in England for a bit (age 18), worked at KFC, Whitby Psych, and the Oshawa Mall at a store called Teen & Twenty. Did a stint at Durham College, got Mono and dropped out. Back to England for another extended trip - learned to fly gliders at the Dorset Flying Club. Off to Toronto to work at various jobs, got interested in Fiddlerès Green Folk Club (my keyboard has gone French, this could be interesting), and did quite a bit of folksinging here and there. 1977 - off to York U for a degree in music, then worked at CBC, then became an Arts Manager. Wow that is hard work. Loved the university years. 1985 - moved to Vancouver, worked as publicist at various organizations off and on for 8 years, then went into freelance teaching voice. Not wealthy but I really enjoyed that. Also got a diploma in Counselling and an ESL qualification. Taught ESL for a couple of years and that was great fun. Started a Womens Music & Creativity Camp - that was pretty amazing, but, didnèt pay much. 12 great years and 22 camps though - lots of art, music, dance, poetry, painting, drama came out of those years. 1998 - moved to Gabriola Island, bought a little A-Frame house, worked at the local library, cleaned houses, taught a little music, and like a lot islanders, cobbled together an income from here and there jobs. Loved the library, but fell afoul of management, was harassed to the point of collapse, went through an arbitration (not the happiest years, but I would not back down to bullies.) Still on Gab in my little house, now I am a dogsitter - always have a pack in the house. Its a canine party here allll the time. Never married, no kids, still singing. How about you.
