OK - really interesting experiment at the cafe today. Heard you can use straight white vinegar to kill weeds. Sprayed a section by the front door at 8 AM - in 3 hours some of the more tenacious like dandelions were already turning brown and were completely wilted. Some of the more "tender" were crispy critter and gone. Some were turned white and shriveled up. Even the seedling of a tree and started to die. Not kidding. I was so shocked I sprayed another dose before I left and I expect to see some pretty good results. So if you have weeds to kill and little patience, it is a cheap way to do it and it WORKS! Just straight out of the jug.
