OK - so theyre not kidding when they say this is a bad one - it kicked my ass big time - sent me to the VA ER for 6 hours to be re-hydrated with a couple bags of that good stuff - and medicated with all kinds of stuff to keep me from heaving the rest of my insides out both ends - and - here it is - irony - (I love Irony) I had the Flu shots to end all flu shots! Turns out this is a very special flu season - we have mutating variants this season! And I thought it was food poisoning - much apologies to my families - I know - none of you have EVER cook anything less than spectacular and I should know better - my bad. There is a 1-4 day incubation cycle - mine went from eating all day Christmas and going to sleep around midnight to wake me up barely made it and stayed there for a while - no ramp up. A little notice would have been nice! Lotsa Pedialyte or if thats not available Gateraid but mixed with water! Our baby girl has it now - sad lil thing - but at least we know what to do and have the meds. Ask your Doc about anti Nausea and Anti diarrhea - sure made a difference for us! According to my figures - we are right in the middle of this - probably 4-5 more days to go. The word of the day is - Hydrate!
