OK - would normally not speak out about this but I am personally upset & offended that SO many people felt the need to post on our facebook page or send us emails complaining and expressing their disappointment in OLC because they were canceled for the Nashville Live Show booking tomorrow. Just want to take a minute to clarify and explain something to those of you who took a negative attitude towards us: Were sorry that you feel the need to express your disappointment with OLC but you should know that your disappointment in misplaced and first realize that it is not OUR fault that you were canceled. Had you expressed your concerns to us verbally before sending nasty emails/posts, we would gladly have let you know that 16 people were canceled today because our AD DEPT told us we had to cancel people. You should also realize that in the tv/film business things are subject to change at the last minute - which was what happened today. Today was the rehearsal for the live show, during which they were placing cameras, equipment, etc. In doing so, the DIRECTOR team realized that there were certain seats and areas of the set that could not accommodate having talent in them. 16 people happened to be in one of those areas where seating/standing was no longer possible. Our message to those of you who were canceled did not say that we have too many people - it said that they cut the numbers and we are sorry but we have to cancel you. WE didnt decide which group of people was canceled, the limitations of the filming space and the AD Dept decided that for us. Sorry that you are disappointed in OLC and hate to say it but we are now disappointed in you, that you would speak out against us like this. To those of you who accepted the cancellation politely and understood the situation - Thank You.
