OK. A guy flies into this country, gets sick and dies. Two of the nurses that treated him become sick. Now, the airline that one of the nurses flew on is dismantling the plane....replacing seats and carpet at their own expense. Both nurses have been have been evacuated from their own hospital to other hospitals on emergency jet charters, apparently because there are only six or so hospitals in the country equipped to handle Ebola cases. Plus, an untold number of people have been quarantined. I am beginning to feel like this whole media panic may be blowing things way out of proportion, as is their wont. Granted, the whole situation is being handled by a bunch of clowns that shouldnt have allowed Ebola into this country in the first place, and, at this time, still refuses to stop those from the affected areas from coming in. Plus, the southern border. Forget about shutting that down to stop disease from “sneaking” across. I mean, these are three people!! What happens if this gets serious? What if it is a hundred people? What if it is a thousand? Is anybody ready for that? Are they going to send everybody to one of six qualified hospitals via chartered jet? How many planes, trains and buses are going to have to be taken out of service and refurbished due to supposed contamination? This whole thing is getting stupid. Everybody is worried about what HAS happened and saying and doing very little, that I can determine, to stop this whole thing in its tracks. Id like to hear somebody say something about all this that made some sense, but, I guess I shouldnt get my hopes up.
